Quick Start
Price a job on the Calculator — it's free, no sign-in. Enter filament grams, time, and your rates; it gives you a suggested price.
Start your free trial to unlock the rest — tap any locked door and create an account (email + password). You get 7 days free.
Add your materials — filament, hardware, paint, anything — with what you paid and how much you have.
Add products and (optionally) a recipe linking the materials each one uses.
Build & sell — building deducts materials and adds finished units; selling draws them down. Your dashboard tracks the value.
🧮 The Calculator
Price any print by its real costs. Enter the filament used (in grams), your filament price per kg, print time, and your shop rates. It adds up material, electricity, labour, and printer wear, applies a failure buffer, then your profit markup — and shows a suggested price plus a margin guide.
- Live filament (premium): pick a filament from the dropdown to auto-fill the price per kg from current market rates.
- G-code upload (premium): drop a sliced .gcode file (PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Cura, Bambu) and it reads the grams and print time for you.
- Printer wear is a per-print-hour charge that bundles machine wear and your running rate. Setup / post time is your hands-on minutes (prep, sanding, painting, assembly), billed at your labour rate.
The calculator is a standalone estimator — it doesn't touch your inventory. Use it to quote any job, even materials you don't stock.
🧵 Materials
Your raw stock — anything you use to make things. Add each material with a name, a unit (g, ml, each, sheet…), how much you have on hand, what you paid, and a low-stock threshold.
- Lot cost + total units: enter what you paid for a spool/lot and how many units it covered (e.g. $24.99 for 1000 g, or $12 for 50 screws). The tool works out your true per-unit cost.
- ± Qty: adjust stock anytime — type
+500, -120, or =1000 for a new total.
- Low at: set a threshold and the material flags "Low" on the dashboard when it drops to or below it.
📦 Products & Recipes
Products are your finished goods. Add one with a sale price and how many are ready now. Then optionally give it a recipe — the materials and amounts used to build one unit.
- Recipe: click "Recipe" on a product and add materials with a quantity per unit (e.g. 180 g PLA + 4 screws). Mix any materials you've defined.
- ▲ Build: enter how many to build. With a recipe, it checks you have enough of each material, deducts them, and adds finished units. If you're short, it tells you exactly what's missing and changes nothing.
- ▼ Sell: reduces your ready-to-sell count (blocks if you don't have that many).
- No recipe? Building just adds finished units by hand — fine for simple tracking.
Builds and sells are logged, so your material drawdown always traces back to what you made.
🧾 Invoices
Turn a calculator price into a clean invoice under your own business name. Enter your business name, location/contact, an optional logo URL, your customer, and the item. Generate, then Print / Save as PDF.
Your business details (and logo) save on your device, so you only enter them once.
📊 The Dashboard
Your home base. Two snapshot cards show the total retail value of finished goods you have ready to sell, and how many materials are running low. The doors below take you to each tool.
