Affiliate Disclosure
J&J Workshop is run by Joey and Jonathon — two grooms and small-business owners in San Antonio, Texas. We make handcrafted goods and write honest buying guides based on what we actually use in our work.
The Short Version
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. We only recommend products we'd genuinely use ourselves or already use in our workshop.
Amazon Associates Program
J&J Workshop is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Other Affiliate Programs
We may also participate in affiliate programs with other retailers we trust — including makers' supply shops, 3D printing companies, and wedding-industry vendors. Where this is the case, the same rules apply: we only recommend what we'd use, and the links don't change your price.
How We Pick What to Recommend
Every product mentioned in our guides has met at least one of these tests:
— We've used it ourselves in the workshop or at our events.
— We've researched it deeply and would buy it if we needed to.
— A maker we trust has put it through real-world use and reported back honestly.
We do not accept payment to recommend specific products. If a brand sends us something for review, we'll say so in the post.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Writing detailed guides takes hours. Running this site costs money. Affiliate links let us keep making content without putting it behind a paywall or filling the page with ads. Every commission goes back into the workshop — new materials, better tools, and (right now) our 2026 wedding.
Your Trust Matters More Than the Commission
If a product stops being something we'd recommend, we'll update the post — even if it costs us. The guides are written for makers like us, not for the algorithms or the brands. If you ever feel like a recommendation isn't right, write us at hello@jandjworkshop.com and we'll take another look.
